Spring in Bloom

For this tutorial you will need
A tube of choice.I am using the work of Jose Cano. I purchased this tube when he was with MPT, You must now purchase his work from PTE in order to use it.

Filters: eye candy 4000(optional)

A Note: Anytime you need to resize something,such as an element or paper, you may do it one of two ways. The first method is by going to image-resize. Under pixel dimensions, make sure the drop box says percent, Lock aspect ratio should be checked and all layers unchecked, then change the width and height under the pixel dimensions the percent you think will work. I usually start with about 80 percent. If it is still too big, you can repeat the steps, adjusting the percent if needed. If it is too small you can undo by going to edit undo, and adjust the percent as needed.
The second way to resize something is to grab your pick tool, the little arrow, click on the layer you wish to resize and
as long as you have clicked the pick tool, you should see a type of box around the layer or element or whatever you are resizing.
Grab the box by a corning and drag it to the size you want. Keep in mind that most artisits do not allow you to make the tubes bigger, and be sure to check the tou for scraps as well.

Open tree2 and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Resize it by about 70 percent. Slide it up slightly to the top of your canvas.

Open grass2 and paste as a new layer. Again resize by about 70 percent. Move this layer toward the bottom of your tag.

Open flowers1 and paste as a new layer. Resize by 70 percent, then use the pick tool to make it even smaller. See my tag for about what size or just judge how you think it looks good. Place to the right of the canvas and position them in the grass.

Right click on this layer and duplicate it, then go image mirror. If needed repostion slightly. Duplicate this layer and move it over slightly and down
toward the bottom of the grass. Duplicate one more time and go image mirror. Move this layer right next to the one we just placed. Now it should look
like you have a row of flowers.

Open the garden frog and paste as a new layer. Resize by 70 percent then use the pick tool to make it smaller. Place to the left of your tag at the end
of the grass.

Paste your tube as a new layer and resize as needed. Position how I have mine if it is laying, or how you think it looks best if it is standing or sitting.
Now we are going to make it look like she is laying in the grass.

Duplicate your grass layer and move above your tube layer by dragging it in the layer palette. Use the pick tool to resize it to about half the size it is.
Duplicate it and go image mirror. Duplicate it one more time and position in the center of the two we just placed. See my tag for how it should look.

Paste flower5 as a new layer and resize by about 70 percent, then resize as needed with the pick tool. Position to the bottom right of the tag.
Duplicate and mirror this layer and position if needed.

Paste flower4 as a new layer and resize as you did the other flowers. Position in the bottom center of the tag.

Open the hanging birdhouse and paste as a new layer. Resize by about 50 percent, then resize it smaller with the pick tool. Position it to the left of the tree so it appears to be hanging off one of the branches. See my tag to get an idea of how it should look.

Open one of the birds, I used number 4, and paste as a new layer. Resize it with the pick tool. I had to go to image mirror for mine, and positon so it looks
like it is sitting on the birdhouse in some way.

Open all three lanterns. Paste one of them as a new layer. Resize it with the pick tool. Position so it looks as though it is hanging on the right side of the tree. Zoom in a few times, i went to 250 percent, and grab your eraser tool with a size of four. Erase only the part of one side of the handle that is on the branch. This will make it look more like it is actually hanging. Zoom back out when your are done. Repeat these steps for the remaing lanterns.

Paste the dandelions as a new layer. Resize by about 70 percent and place to one side of your tag. Duplicate and mirror this layer.
If you want, grab the eraser tool with a size about 15 and erase the parts of the dandelions that are on the body of your tube.

Open the rainbow and paste as a new layer. Resize by about 70 percent. I mirrored mine and placed it to the top right of the tag. move this layer below your tree layer.

Get one of the clouds and paste as a new layer. Resize aobut 70 percent and place so the end of the cloud is at the end of the rainbow. I then duplicated the cloud and made it smaller and placed it at the top left of the tag.

The last thing I did was I pasted another bird and resized it, then positioned it on the right branch of the tree.

Now is the time if you wish to resize your entire tag to do so. Go to image resize, make sure all layers and lock aspect ratio is checked, use pixels and choose the size you want.

Add the copyright so it is clearly visible. Add your name. I added a gradient glow of 3 to mine with eye candy 4000. Add a drop shadow of choice. Now double click the layer in the layer palette and change the blend mode to luminance legacy and lower the opacity to 70.

Thats it save and you are done.

Rustic green

A tube of choice.I am using the work of Caron Vinson. I purchased these images from CILM when they were around, but now In order to use Caron Vinsons work you must purchase it
at CDO

Mask of choice

Copy and paste the frame labled El85. Resize it using the image resize method, 85%, all layers unchecked.

Paste one of the papers as a new layer, I used paper 6. Drag this layer below your frame layer.

Click on your frame layer and grab the magic wand, mode is add, match mode rgb, tolerance 20, feather 0. Click in the center of the empty space on both sides of the frame. Selections, modify, expand by about 4. Make your paper layer active by clicking it in the layer palette. Go selections invert, and hit delete on your keyboard. Select none. You should now only have paper showing through your frame.

Paste El78, the bronzish colored roses, as a new layer. Resize using the pick tool about like mine and then rotate it like mine. If you dont like using the pick tool to rotate then just go image, free rotate, 90 degrees left. Position toward the top of the frame to the left of the tag. See my tag for placement.
Duplicate this layer by right clicking it and choose duplicate. then go image mirror and if needed reposition slightly.

Grab your eraser tool with a size of about four and on both rose layers, carefully erase the part of the stems that go over the silver pare of the frame.
This will make it look as though the stems are sticking through the frame.

Open El64 and paste as a new layer. Resize it and position at the bottom center of the frame. Duplicate this layer and resize the duplicate. Postion it slightly to the right, then duplicate this layer and position to the left of the bigger flower. See my tag for placement.

Paste El130, the green leaves with the lillies, as a new layer and resize about 70%. If needed resize a little more using the pick tool. Position in the center of the frame and make sure this layer is below the flowers layer. Once you have it positioned, grab your eraser tool, size about 6, and zoom in on the silver metal parts of the frame in the center.
Make sure your green leaves is the active layer. Erase only the bits of stem that are above the silver metal pieces. Do not erase any of the leaves. See my tag for how it should look when done.

open El50 and El51, the orange and green butterflies. Paste the orange one,El50, as a new layer and resize it. Place on the left side of tag about where I have mine. Now paste the green one as a new layer and resize, make it a little smaller than the first one. Position this one just under the orange one and rotate it slightly using the pick tool. Duplicate this green one and place at the bottom left corner of the frame. Now duplicate the orange butterfly layer, resize it so it is about the same size as the green ones, and position in between the two green ones, rotate it slightly in the opposite direction using the pick tool. See my tag for how these should look.

Paste your tube as a new layer. Move this layer below the frame layer and postion the part you to show through one side of the frame. Duplicate this layer and go image mirror, if needed reposition just a little. Make your frame layer active and grab your magic wand tool, same settings as before, click in the center of both sides of the frame. Selections, modify, expand by about 4. click on one of your tube layers and go selections, invert, hit delete on your keyboard, now click on the other tube layer and hit delete. Now the only part of the tube that should be left is the part showing through the frame. Select none.

Give your frame layer a drop shadow by going effects, 3d effects, drop shadow, 0,0,100,10, black.

Click on your very bottom layer. If it is not blank, add a new layer and drag the new one to the bottom. Either paste a paper of choice as a new layer or flood fill with a color or gradient of choice.
Add your mask by going layers, load/save mask, load from disk. Find your mask in the drop down box, click source luminance, click fit to canvas, click hide all mask.
once happy with the mask, right click the mask layer and go merge group.

I then added another tube and resized it so that it looks as though she is sitting on the flowers. Give this tube a drop shadow of choice.

Now is the time if you wish to resize your entire tag if you wish to make it smaller. Go to image resize, all layers and lock aspect ratio checked, pixels instead of percent and choose your size.

Now add your copyright so it is clearly visible. Add your name in a font and color of choice. I added a gradient glow from eye candy 4000 to my name, but this is up to you. Add a drop shadow of choice, i used 2, -2, 100,2, black.

Thats it save and you are done.

Eternal Passion

Copy and paste paperfold1 as a new layer. You will not be able to see it at first, we will fix that. Go to image resize, choose percent and make it about 35, all layers unchecked. Repeat this resize with the same settings. Now you should be able to see the paperfold.

Duplicate this layer and go image mirror, then image flip. Right click on the top layer and go layers merge down. Thiswill be our frame.

Open paper 59 and paste as a new layer. Resize twice in the same way we did before with the same settings. Drag this layer below the frame layer.Use the pick tool, the little arrow, and grab one corner of the box around the paper and slightly drag it to make it fit just inside the frame. Do the same with the opposite diagonal corner of the one you just did. So if youused the right top corner first, then use the bottom left corner for the second time. Now none of your paper should be stickingout of the frame.

Open flower1 and paste as a new layer. Again resize by 35 percent twice. Then use the pick tool to adjust the size by dragging only one corner till its the size you want. You can use my tag as a guide for the size. Move the flower toward the bottom right side of the frameand position so its half on and half off the frame. Now drag this layer below the frame and paper layers.

Duplicate this layer four times so you end up with a total of five. arrange them in a line going up the side of the frame. Hide your paper layer and frame layer by clicking the eye next to each layer. Now right click on the top flower layer and go layers merge visible. All your flowers should now be on one layer.Unhide your paper and frame layer now.

Duplicate your merged flowers layer and go image mirror. Duplicate this layer and go image-free rotate-90 degrees left-rotate single layer around canvas center checked,all layers unchecked. One more time, Duplicate this layer and go image flip. Now you should have flowers all around your whole frame.

This part is up to you, I added a gradient glow to my frame layer using eye candy 4000. The settings are under basic width 3,soft corners 25,overall opacity 100, draw onlyoutside checked. Under the color tab choose the color you want,I used a brighter red, then i clicked just just under the long rectangular color bar so it added a second color tab.

Add a drop shadow to your frame by going effects, 3d effects, drop shadow, 0,0,100,10black.

Paste your tube as a new layer. If needed resize your tube just a little using the pick tool, so if fits nicely in between the folded paper pieces inside of the frame, dont worry if any bits will stick out of the frame, we will fix that. See my tag if needed for how the tube inside the frame should look.Drag this layer below the frame layer but above the paper layer. Grab your magic wand tool, mode is add, match mode rgb, tolerance 20. Make your frame layer active and click in the center of your frame with the wand. Go to selections, modify expand by about 20. Keep selected and make your tube layer active,selections invert, DO NOT HIT DELETE, grab your eraser tool, size about 47, hardness 83, step 34, density 100, thickness 100, rotation 0 , opactiy 100, erase only the bits that stick out of the bottom of theframe. Leave the ones at the top alone.

Now duplicate your tube layer and drag this layer to the top. Grab your magic wand tool, make the frame layer active and click inside, go to selections modify epand by 1. Now makeyour top tube layer active and go selections invert, grab the eraser tool and erase only the bits sticking out of the bottom of the frame. Select none. If needed, see my tag for howthis will look.

Paste the stitched heart as a new layer. Resize once by thirty five percent. Then use your pick tool to make it smaller. Place it on the left top corner of the frame and slightly rotate it using the pick tool. To rotate it, just click the pick tool and move the mouse over the little square that comes out from the center of the box. When you see the the two double arrows click and hold the mouse button and turn it the way u want.

Open the stemmed rose3 and paste as a new layer. Resize once by 35 percent, then again by 45 percent. Move this layer to the right side of the frame and place like i have mine. Once happy with the placement, duplicate it and move this duplicate below the frame and tube layer. Click on the rose layer that is at the top. Grab your eraser tool and erase bits of the stem and leaves that show on the frameto make look like the rose is coming out from under the frame. see my tag for reference. If any bits stick out of the edges of the frame, you need to erase these bits from both rose layers.

on the top rose layer go to effects, edge effects, enhance.

Open the heart key and paste it as a new layer. Resize it by 35 percent, then again by 45 percent. Place to the right of the tag and put the ring so it looks as though it is hanging off the frame. Grab your eraser tool with a size of about 16, erase very carefully just a tiny bit of the ring where the corner of the frame is. Now it should really look like it is hanging off the frame. See my tag for reference.Move this layer under the top rose layer.

Duplicate this key layer and go image mirror, and move it below the stitched heart layer.

Open tag 2 and paste as a new layer. Resize twice by 35 percent, then make a little smaller using the pick tool. Position this to the right bottom corner of the tag and slightly rotate it to the right. See my tag for reference. This layer should be above your key layer. I then chose to slightly adjust the color of it by going to adjust, hue/saturation/lightness, colorize is checked, hue is 360, saturation 100, lightness is -6.I then went effects, edge effects, enhance.

Now is the time if you wish to resize your entire tag to do so. Go to image resize, choose pixels instead of percent, lock aspect ratio and all layers checked, choose the size you want and hit ok.

Add your copyright so it is clearly legible. Add your name in a font and color of choice. I then gave my name a gradient glow with the same settings as before. Give it a drop shadow of choice.

Save and you are done.

TICKLE ME WITH FEATHERS

Copy and paste element 4, it kinda looks like a window, as a new layer. This will be our frame. I did not resize mine but u can resize yours if needed.

Copy and paste a paper of choice, I used paper 10. Resize twice by about 75 percent. Adjust the size if needed using the pick tool.
Put this layer under the frame layer.

Open element 70. Resize by about 75 percent, then use the pick tool to adjust so it fits nicely across the bottom of the frame. See my tag for reference.

Paste one of the candles as a new layer, I used number 13. Resize with the pick tool and place at one of the bottom corners of the frame. Duplicate this layer
by going image duplicate, and then go image mirror. You should now have one on each side of the frame.

Paste element 27, the red and black corset thing, as a new layer, resize as needed and move this layer below the frame but above the paper. Position to one side so it
shows through the frame.

Paste element 9, looks kinda like a garter, as a new layer and resize as needed to make it toward the bottom of the corset. See my tag for reference.

Click on the corset layer and go layers merge down. Your corset and your garter should now be one layer. Duplicate this layer and go image mirror. Place
into position so it shows through the other side of the frame.

Open one of the stemmed roses, i used number 50. I had to rotate mine by going image free rotate, 90 degrees left. Resize as needed and postion on one side of your frame.
Move this layer to just above the frame layer. Once happy with placement, go duplicate and mirror. Postion if needed on the other side of the frame.

Open a pair of the wings, I used number 14. Paste as a new layer and resize. Move to the left of the frame and drag this layer under the paper layer. See my tag for how it should look. Once happy with it, duplicate and mirror. Put into position if needed. Merge these two layers together like we did before. Duplicate this merged layer and go image flip. Move this layer up closer toward the first set of wings. Again see my tag for how this should look.

For each of the wing layers, I went to effects, edge effects, enhance.

Paste your tube as a new layer and position just above the frame layer. I resized mine a little and put it in the center of the frame.

Give your tube and each of your element layers a drop shadow of choice by going effects-3d effects-drop shadow. Play around till you find one you like.

I also decided to place the black feather on my tag. I resized it and placed one each side of the frame at the bottom, then i merged them together and duplicated
that layer, then flipped it and moved the flipped layer under the frame layer.

Now is the time to resize your entire tag if you wish to do. You do this by going image resize, make sure all layers is checked and lock aspect ratio is checked, change the percent to pixels and choose your size.

Once happy with the size of your tag, add the copyright so it is clearly visible. Add your name in a font of choice.
Give it a drop shadow. Save and you are done!

Sweetness of Pink

Open paper 13 and paste as a new layer. You will need to resize this. I resized mine by 65 percent.

Grab your magic wand, mode is add, match mode rgb, tolerance 20, anti alias checked, outside. Click in the center of the paper.You should now the the little dancing ants around the plain paper only. Go to selections invert,then go selections-promote selection to layer. Selections-select none. Now you should have another layer with the folded paper on it alone.

open one of the heart print frames, I used number 2, and paste as a new layer. Resize about like mine,about 60 percent, and go image mirror. Position on the top right corner of the paper. See my tag for reference.

Paste the rose2 as a new layer. Resize it about like mine and place at the top of the frame so it slightly covers the edge of the folded paper.See my tag if needed. Duplicate this twice and place the in a row as i have mine. If you made your roses smaller than mine, you will need to duplicate your roses a few more times so they fit like mine.

On each rose layer, I chose to sharpen them. Click on your first rose, go to adjust, sharpness, sharpen. Do this to the remaining roses.

Now paste the rose again, this time make it smaller than the last ones, postion along the heart frame on the left side of it so the firstsmall rose touches the edge of the bigger one. If needed see my tag for placement. Duplicate the rose as needed and postion following the edge of the left side of the frame. I used the same sharpen tool for each of these. I also gave each of these smaller roses a drop shadow.Go to effects, 3d effects, drop shadow, 0,0,75,4,black.

Open one of the flowers, I used flower 1. Paste as a new layer and resize. These should be about the size of the small roses.I duplicated mine so I had a total of five. Position them along the right side of the heart frame up to the edge of the paper.The first one should be just under the small rose at the tip of the heart. See my tag if needed. Again i repeated the sharpen and thedrop shadow.

Paste the flower again, this time leaving it a little bigger. I used five of these also. Position the first one under the small flower layersat the right edge of the paper. Position however many you need in a straight row down until you get to the folded paper part. See my tag if needed.and once more apply the sharpen and drop shadow to each one.

Open the cherry blossom 2. Paste as a new layer. Go image mirror. Resize and place to the right of the tag on top of the bigger flowers. Place how you likeor see my tag. Give it a drop shadow of choice.

Now i chose to paste one of the doodles so the paper back wouldnt look so plain. This is up to you. I used flowers and hearts 1. Paste it as a new layer.Resize and postion toward the bottom right of the tag. Move this layer so it is above the pink paper but below the folded part. I then duplicated this layerand went image, flip. I positioned it over the left of the tag.

Open the main tube you are going to use and paste it as a new layer. Put it into positon like mine, or where you like, If you need to resize it do so, or if you just have parts sticking out of the bottom or the side, You can grab the eraser tooland carefully erase them just enough so it doent stick out. The other way you can fix it is to grab the magic wand and change it to the selection too by clicking the little drop arrow next to it. Choose selection, type is rectangle, mode is add, feather 0, anti alias checked.Draw a rectangle around ONLY the parts you want to delete. Hit delete on your key board. Selections, select none.

Give your tube a drop shadow of choice.

Now open the tube you want inside the heart. Paste as a new layer and postion the part you want to show inside the frame.Resize to how you need it. Grab the magic wand tool, same settings as before, and click in the center of the frame. Selections,modify, expand by about 3. keep selected and click on your tube layer, selections invert, delete.

Double click this layer and change the opacity to 50.

Give the heart frame a drop shadow.

If you wish to resize your entire tag, now is the time to do it. To do the entire tag, use the image resize method, this time changing the percent to pixels and choosing the size, and make sure all layers is checked.

Once happy with it, add your copyright so it is clearly visible.

Add your name in a font of choice. I then went to layers, convert to raster, then adjust add noise,random, monochrome and 10 percent.Give it a drop shadow, i used 0,0,100,7,black.

Save and your are done.

For this tutorial you will need A tube of choice. I have used the work of Myka Jelina. In order to use the image in this tutorial you MUST purchase it from CILM.

Filters-Xenofex 2 rip open,

Animation shop

You will also need to download my flower here or use one of your own.

New image- 600x600

Paste my flower as a new layer

Resize it by going to image-resize, resize by 110 percent.

Paste your tube as a new layer an position how you like.

Right click on the tube layer and go to layers-merge visible.

Go to effects-distortion effects-twirl at -720.

Again, paste the flower and resize as we did above. Paste your tube again as a new layer.

Give your tube a drop shadow by going to effects-3d effects-drop shadow, 1,-2, 100, 5, and black.

I did not resize my tag but if you want yours smaller resize it now by going to image resize and make sure all layers arechecked and lock aspect ratio is checked, chosse pixels and put the size you want.

Now add your name in a font of choice. I used JOKERMAN font. Go to effects, edge effects, enhance, and just say ok when it says it needs to convert to raster. Now to turn your name you can do one of two things. The easiest way is to use the pick tool(the lil arrow tool), and when you see the box around the name you also see a line with a little tiny box in the center. Hover the mouse over the little tiny box and it will turn to arrows. When you see the arrows click and hold down the left mouse button and turn it in the direction you want it. Once happy with it, move it into postion.

The way I did mine was to first click the pick tool, hover the mouse over the tiny square on the left side of the name.You will see it turns to a straight arrow going side to side. Hold down the shift key and the arrows point up and down.While holding the shift key down, click and hold the left mouse button at the same time and slide the box up to where you want it. Once happy with it, move into position.

Give your name a drop shadow same as above only changing the -2 to a -3.

Add your copyright so it is clearly visible.

Duplicate your flower layer and move it to the top.

Duplicate this one until you have a total of seven. Hide all of these flower layers. Starting with the layer on top, leave thisone as it is and keep it closed. Unhide the next flower layer and on this layer go to effects, plugins, xenofex 2, rip open- curl size 10, curl amount 1, curl variation 80, roughness 5, shadow width 2.83, click the make selection transparent, color white. Hide this one again and open the next one.

Repeat the rip open filter changing only the curl amount to 15. Repeat the filter hiding and unhiding the layers as you go with the following settings for the curl amount:
On the next one change it to 25.
The next one is going to be 30.
Then 40, and the last one is 50.

Now make sure all the flower layers are closed and unhide only the flower on top which should be the normal flower that we left alone.

Click this layer to make it active and add your name again in the same font with the same edge enhance effect. Place your name over the center of the flower and make it small enough to fit the center. Give it a drop shadow.

Duplicate this layer and move it below the top flower layer. Now hide the top flower layer and Unhide the second flower layer.With your eraser tool on a size of 24 or smaller, erase any part of the name that is not on a petal. Once done, close both this name layer and flower layer.

Open the top flower layer and name layer. Now we are going to animate.

Go to edit, copy merged, Go to animation shop, Paste as new animation.

Back in psp, close off the top name layer and the top flower layer. Open the erased name layer and the second flower layer. Edit, copy merged, back to animation shop, edit paste after current frame.

Back in psp, close off the second flower layer and the erased name layer and open the third flower layer. Copy merged, back to animation shop, paste after current frame.

Back to psp, close the third flower layer and open the fourth, copy merged, back in animation shop, paste after current frame.

Repeat these steps for the fifth, sixth and seventh flower layers. Once you have that done, In psp, close off the last flower layer so now all your flower layers that are above the tube layer should be closed. Click one of the visible layers to make it active and go edit copy merged, and go back to animation shop and paste after current frame.

Now still in animation shop go to edit select all, then go to animation frame properties and change it to thirty, then go back to animation and this time choose animation properties and choose opaque and color is white. View your animation and save.

thats it, you are done.

For this tutorial you will need A tube of choice. I am using the work of David Desbois http://daviddeb.deviantart.com/. You must have permission to use his work.

Scrapkit- This kit is called My Fallen Valentine by Crimson Butterfly Scrapz. You must purchase this kit at http://www.digifoxsstudio.net/ or http://www.digitalchaos.net/ to use it.

Filters used-Xenofex2 constellation(optional) Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow(optional)

New Image- 600x600 transparent. Copy and paste the frame3 as a new layer. Resize it by going to image-resize-80 percent, all layers unchecked, lock aspect ratio checked. Then resize again by 85 percent.

If you are going to use a paper for your fill, paste it as a new layer. Resize by 70 percent. Move this below your framelayer. Make your frame layer active. Grab your selection tool and set to ellipse, feather 0, anti alias checked. Drawa selection around your frame without going outside the edge of the frame. This may take a few tries to get it quite right.Selections invert, on your paper layer hit delete. Now you should only have the paper inside the frame. I chose to use a color for my fill. Instead of pasting a paper, I drew my selection, added a new layer and flood filled it with my color. Then i moved my fill layer below my frame layer.

I gave my frame a very slight white drop shadow of 0,0,50,5.

Paste your tube as a new layer. If it needs to be resized use the same method we did above and start with about 85 percent. If its still too big, repeat this, if it is too small, undo and change the percentage. The other way to resize if you need just a little is to grab your pick tool, grab the box around the tube by a cornter and drag it slightly to the size you want. Dont worry if just a little of your tube hangs over, we will fix that. Make your fill layer active. Go to selections, select all, selections float,then defloat, selections invert and hit delete on your tube layer. Make sure this layer is above the paper but below the frame.

Open candle1 and paste as a new layer. Resize it about like mine and place on one side of your tag. See my tag for reference.Once happy with the placement, duplicate and mirror. You may need to postion this one slightly. Now you have one on each sideof your tag.

Copy and paste the rose3 as a new layer. Resize and position on the left side of the tag so it covers the bottom of the candle. See my tag for placement.

Copy and paste rose2 as a new layer. Resize just a little and go to image free rotate, 90 degrees right, both boxes unchecked. Positiontoward the bottom of the tag with the end of the stem further toward the other rose we placed. Move this layer below the other rose layer. Again see my tag for how this should look.

Copy and paste the envelope as a new layer. Resize it about like mine. Move below the rose layer. Position it so it sits on the right side of the tag. I slighly rotated mine using the pick tool. Then i went to effects, edge effects, enhance. See my tag for how this looks.

Copy and paste the feather2 as a new layer. Resize it to your liking or about like mine. Move this layer below the candle layers. Position on the left side of the tag so it sticks out above the candle some. See my tag for placement. Once happy with it, duplicate it and mirror. Put into position if necessary.

Give each feather the same drop shadow we used earlier. Now the next part is optional. I added a slight constellation to mine using xenofex2,1.98, 22, 9, 0, 80, 75, rotation 45, keep original, and click random seed once. Do this for each feather.

I then added a flourish1 to mine and moved it under all the layers. I positioned it to the right of the tag, resized it, then duplicated it and mirrored it.

I did not resize my tag but if you wish to resize yours now is the time to do so. Go to image resize, all layers and lock aspect ratio both checked. Change the percent to pixels and choose your size. When you change one, the other automaticly changes.

Now add your copyright info so it is clearly visible. I added a gradient glow of 3 to mine from eye candy.

Now add your name in a scripty type font. Postion where you like or how i have mine. If you wish to add a glow, convert to raster and go to eye candy 4000 gradient glow, under the basic tab 3,25,100, under the color tab the first tab should be white, I added a second white tab, and then i added a third taband changed the color on the third one to the dark red in the name, opacity 100. You may also give your name a black drop shadow if you wish.

Thats it, you are done.

For this tutorial you will need

Two tubes of choice. I am using the work of Myka Jelina. In order to use the image in this tutorial you MUST purchase it from CILM.

Filters- Kang 4 bubblecross waves and bat wave

Eye candy 3.1-HSB noise

Dsb flux-linear transmission

New image-600x600 transparent.

Paste your main tube as a new layer and position in the center of your canvas. If it needs to be resized you can resize one of two ways. The first is to go to image-resize-make sure the first drop box says percent and not pixels, start with 85, all layers unchecked, lock aspect ratio checked, and for the resample box choose smart size.If it is still too big, repeat those steps. If it is too small then go to edit, undo, and repeat the resize using a larger percent. The other way to resize is to click the little arrow tool, also known as the pick tool, and you will see a box around your tube. Grab the box by a corner, this will keep it proportionate, and carefully drag it to the size you want. You will need to repostion your tube if you use this method. Any time I say to resize and i do not specify, you may choose to use either of these methods.

Click your preset shape tool and set it to ellipse with a width of 7. Make your foreground color black or a dark color from your tube, and your background color a lighter color from your tube.

Draw out a shape about the size of mine. Position it so that it looks as though your tube is sitting in the cirle or standing in front of it if you chose a standing tube.

Grab your magic wand tool-mode is add, match mode is rgb value, tolerance 20, feather 0, anti alias checked, and choose outside in the last drop box. Click in the center of your circle.Keep selected. Right click on the circle layer and choose convert to raster. Now go to effects, plugin-Kang 4-batwave - x frequency 180- y frequency 124- this works with that 46- this works with this-98- orientation mode 19- carving light 35- style light 27- color cycle 233. KEEP SELECTED.

We need to colorize this to match our tube. Go to adjust-Hue and saturation-you can either choose colorize or hue/saturation/lightness-if you choose colorize, simply move the first bar to the color you want, and the second one to make it more or less colorful. If you choose hue/saturation/lightness, check the colorize box, move the top slider bar that goes across(this is the hue)to about the color you want, then move the saturation and lightness bars till you get just the right shade. Keep selected.

Again go to your kang 4 filter, this time choose bubble crosswaves-x freq. 224- y freq. 206- x ampl. 154- y ampl. 154= bubble cross 129. Now go to selections-select none.

Give your tube a drop shadow by going to effects-3d effects- drop shadow, i used vertical -2, horizontal 0, opacity 75, blur 10, color black.

Click on your blank background layer. Grab your preset shape tool again but this time choose rectangle. Make your foreground color the same that you used for your circle but change the background color to a medium color to match your tube. Draw out a rectangle almost the width of the canvas and slightly shorter than your circle. See my tag for the size and placement. It should be almost centered under the circle.Convert to raster.

Now click on your circle layer. Paste your other tube as a new layer and resize it. Position on one side of the circle about how i have mine. Dont worry about any excess that hangs over the rectangle. We will fix that. Once happy with the position, go to image-duplicate, and then image mirror. You should now have one on each side. Double click on one of them and change the blend mode to hard light. Do the same for the other one.

Now grab your magic wand tool with the same settings as before. Click on the rectangle layer to make it active. Now click inside the rectangle with the wand. Go to selections invert. Click on one of the tube layers we are using and hit delete on your keyboard. Click on the other one and do the same thing. Now all the excess tube is gone. Go to selections invert. Keep selected.

Make your rectangle layer active by clicking it. Go to effects-plugins-eye candy 3.1-HSB noise- hue 0, saturation 18, brightness 36, opacity 0, lump width and lump height 12, random seed 1. Keep selected. Go back to plugins-kang 4-bubble cross waves with same settings as before. Selections-select none.

Give your circle layer a drop shadow of 0,0,100,10,black. You may give your rectangle layer the same drop shadow if you wish.

Hide your top tube layer, this should be your main tube, by clicking the eye next to it. Now right click on any other layer and go merge visible. Now you should have two layers. Unhide the tube layer now. Click on the merged layer we made. Duplicate this layer. On the bottom copy go effects-plugins-dsb flux linear transmission-size 5, offset 5, blend 0, vertical clicked. Go effects, edge effects, enhance.

Almost done. Before we add anything else, this is the time if you wish to resize your tag to do so. To do this you must use the image resize method. This time make sure the box says pixels instead of percent, make sure all layers is checked and change the pixel size to the size you want, when change one the other will change too so the tag stays proportionate.

Now we can add our copyright. Click on your top layer and add a new raster layer. To do this just go to layers, add new raster layer. Add your copyright. Make sure it is clearly visible. I usually add a gradient glow either white or a color to match but that makes it more visible with a size of 3, or a white drop shadow.

Now we will add our name. Click on your text tool which is the A. Choose your font. Choose the colors for the foreground and background that match your tube. You may use whatever font and size you like. To do it like mine i used a font called neuropol at a size of 72. Place how you like or how i have mine. Convert to raster. Go effects-edge effects-enhance. Now grab your magic wand, same settings, and click inside each letter. Go to effects-eye candy 3.1- and use the hsb noise with the same settingswe used earlier. Keep selected. Go to plugins-kang 4-bubble cross waves with these settings x and y freq 255, x and y amplitude 120, bubble cross 0. Selections- select none.

You can give your name a drop shadow if you wish.

Thats it, save and you are done.

Twirled fire

For this tutorial you will need A tube of choice. I am using the work of Amy Brown. In order to use the image in this tutorial you MUST purchase it from CILM.

A circular type mask- I am using a mask called sg_stencilled-circle1 by Essex Girl, you can find her masks here http://www.essexgirl.uk.com/sg_masks_index.htm. I do not know which page this mask is on, sorry.

Filters-DSB Flux linear transmission

New image-600x600-transparent.

Paste your tube as a new layer. If needed resize it by clicking the little arrow tool and then drag the box around the tube by the corner to the size you want. Or if you would rather, go to image-resize-lock aspect ratiochecked, all layers unchecked, choose percentage, about 85 percent. If it makes it too small or is still too big, undo and try again with a different percentage. Center the tube in the canvas.

Duplicate your tube layer. On the bottom tube layer, go to effects-distortion effects-twirl 720. Still on this layer, go to adjust-add noise-guassian, monochrome-40.

Duplicate your tube layer again. Again, on the bottom tube layer, go to effects-plugins-dsb flux-linear transmission- size 4, offset 11, blend 0, horizontal. Move this layer below your twirled layer. Go to effects-3d effects-drop shadow 0, 0, 100, 5 white.

Click your bottom blank layer to make it active. Grab your paint bucket tool and Choose a light to medium color from your tube for a fill color. Flood fill this layer with the color you chose. Go to layers-load/save mask-load mask from disk- in the drop box find the mask you are using and click it, source luminance, fit to canvas, hide all, and invert checked. Load. Right click on the mask layer and merge group. Now go to effects-edge effects-enhance.

Hide all your layers except the masked layer by clicking the eyes next to them. grab your magic wand-mode is add, match mode rgb, tolerance 10, feather 0, anti alias checked. Click in the center of the masked layer. The center circle part of the mask should have the dancing ants around it. If it doesnt, you may have to use the selection tool instead and set it to ellipse and select it that way. Once selected, go to adjust-add noise-random-monochrome15. Select none.

Unhide your other layers.

Make your tube layer active. Go to effects-3d effects- drop shadow, 0, 0, 80, 10, black.

Now is the time if you wish to resize your entire tag to do so. I did not resize mine. If you wish to do so, go to image resize- all layers checked, lock aspect ratio checked, pixels instead of percent, and choose the size you want.

Now add your copyright so it is clearly legible. I added a gradient glow to mine with a size of 3.

You can use a drop shadow in a light color also if needed.

Add your name. Right click and convert to raster. Go to effects- edge effects-enhande. Now go to adjust- add noise-guassian-monochrome-20. Repeat the noise this time with add noise-random-monochrome-15.

Give your name a drop shadow of choice.

Save and you are done!

Twilight Things

For this tutorial you will need

A tube of choice. I am using a ftu image by Zindy Nielson, visit her site here http://zindy-zone.dk/

Scrapkit. I am using a PTU Collab kit called It's A Twilight Thing by some of the awesome desingers at Digi Fox's Studio, http://digifoxsstudio.net/store/.

A note: Some of these items are full size and will need to be resized by going to image-resize, then make sure you have all layers unchecked, and lock aspect ratio checked. You willwant to use the percent instead of pixels to resize these items. I used a percent of 40 on mine but if you do this and it makes it too small, simply use your edit and undo function, thenresize it with a slightly larger percentage. If it is still too big after the first resize, then resize again using about 75 percent. It is trial and error to get it just right so just undoor repeat the resize, and adjust as needed till you get it right if it comes out wrong. If the item is a tagger size item, then just resize by about 75 percent.

ok lets start.

New image-600x600-trasnsparent.

Choose a frame and paste as a new layer. If needed resize and place in the center of the canvas.

Grab your magic wand-tolerance 20, feather 0, mode is add, match mode is rgb, anti-alias checked, and outside, click in the center of the frame. Go to selections-modify-expand by four. Paste another paper of choice as a new layer, keep selected and resize. Once happy with the size, go to selections invert, hit delete, select none. Move this paper layer below your frame layer.

Open the tt_IATT_sparkle and paste as a new layer. Make sure this layer is just above the background paper. Move it to the top left corner. See my tag for reference. Duplicate this layer and go image-mirror and then image-flip.

On the top sparkle layer right click and choose layers merge down. You should now have both sparkles on one layer. Duplicate it and go image-mirror. Again see my tag for reference.

Open the AD_Doodles and paste as a new layer. Put this layer just above the sparkles. Resize by 80 percent and slide it down so there is nothing sticking out of the top of the frame. It shouldonly be showing under the bottom of the frame. Once happy with it, duplicate and flip.

Merge these two together like we did with the sparkles. Duplicate again. This time go image-free rotate-left, 90, all layers unchecked and rotate single layer around canvas checked. OK, one more time, duplicate this layer and go image flip. See my tag for reference for how they should look.

Open the rose2_FD_DFS and paste as a new layer. Resize it and go image-free rotate, same settigs as before. Place the rose at the bottom of the frame as i have mine. Once happy with it, Duplicate it, and go image mirror, then image flip, and again position as i have mine. You may need to use the eraser brush with a size of 15,hardness 80, step 1, density 100, thickness 100rotation 0, opacity 100. On the top rose, Erase the end of the rose the rose stem that is on top of the other rose just enough so it looks as though it goes underneath it. This may be tricky.

Merge the two roses together and give them a drop shadow by going to effects-3d effects-drop shadow. Vertical -2, horizontal 0, opacity 100, blur 10, color black.

Open the open one of the candles that looks similar to mine and paste as a new layer. Resize it and move this layer below the roses. See my tag for placement. Once happy with it, duplicate and go image mirror and if needed postion as i have mine. Now you need to paste the candle again as a new layer and resize, but make this one slightly larger than the others.Position above the roses and in the center of the other two candles.

Give each candle a drop shadow of V -2, h 0, opacity 70, blur 5, color black.

Now we will add the tube. Click on the paper layer we made for the frame. Paste your tube as a new layer and resize by about 80 percent. If it is still too big repeat the resize. If it is the size you want but there is some sticking out from under the frame thats ok, we will fix that. Once you have it positioned how you like, grab your magic wand and click on your frame layer. With the magic wand, click in the center of the frame, go selections modify-expand by 5, make the tube layer active again and go selections inevert, hit delete. Select none. My tube was a black and white tube, or grey tones, so I double clicked on the tube layer and changed the blend mode to luminance.

The next part is optional, i added the wordart heart lion and lamb and resized it and postioned in the bottom center of the tag. I gave it the same drop shadow as the candles.

Now is the time if you wish to resize your tag to do so. Go to Image-Resize-use pixels this time, make sure all layers and lock aspect ratio are both checked, and change the pixels to the size you want, when you change one the size, the other should automaticly change too. This keeps the proportions of the tag.

Add your copyright so it is clearly visible. I add a glow of about 3 to mine using eye candy.

Now add your name. Position how you like and give it a drop shadow of choice. Now save and you are done.

RACS TRICK OR TREAT

For this tutorial you will need A tube of choice, one with a close up works best. I am using the work of Ismael Rac. In order to use the image in this tutorial you MUST purchase it from AMI.

Filters- VM Instant art spiderwebDSB Flux bright noise bubbles, and linear transmissionMuras Meister copiesEye Candy 4000 gradient glow(optional)

New Image-600x600 transparent

Grab your paint bucket tool and make your background black and your foreground a color from your tube. Change the foreground to a gradient and find the one that says foreground/background. Style is sunburst, repeats 0, invert unchecked. Flood fill your background with the gradient.

Preset shape tool-set to rectangle, width of 10, anti-alias checked, foreground a color from your tube, background null. Draw out a rectangle about the size of mine and place about in the center of the canvas. Right click this layer and convert to raster.

Grab your magic wand tool-mode is add, match mode rgb, tolerance 20, feather 0, contiguous and anti-alias checked. Click inside the rectangle. Go to selections-modify-expand by 3.Add a new raster layer and grab your pait bucket tool. Flood fill with the same gradient you used earlier. You may have to reset your colors again to do this. KEEP SELECTED.

Go to effects-plugins-vm instant art-spiderweb- Rays 16, rings 32, merging 85. KEEP SELECTED. Go to plugins again and find dsb flux bright noise-intensity 49 and click mix. Selections-select none. Move this layer under your frame layer

If your tube has a close up then grab it now and copy and paste it as a new layer. If it doesnt then just use the tube you chose. Move the tube, whichever one it happens to beunder the rectangle layer but above the fill for it. Positon it how you want so it shows through the rectangle. If needed resize by grabbing the pick tool, the arrow tool, and drag the box by a corner to the size you want it. See my tag for reference.

Click on your rectangle layer and go to effects-edge effects-enhance. Now go effects-3d effects-drop shadow, 0,0,100,8, black.

Hide your background layer, the one we filled in the beginning, and then right click on the top layer and go merge visible. Now unhide your background layer. You should have two layers now.

Duplicate your merged layer, which should be the frame with the close up and the fill we made for the frame. On the original, go image-resize-50 percent, all layers uncheckedand lock aspect ratio checked. go to muras meister copies-in the drop box below the preview screen find Tiling and click it. Leave the settings as they are.

Duplicate the copies layer and on the original go to dsb flux-bubbles-19,50,50,50. On the same layer go to effects-texture effects mosaic antique-columns and rows 25, symmetric checked, tile diffusion 70, grout width 2, grout diffusion 10. Now double click this layer and change the blend to hard light.

Go back to the copies layer and double click it and lower the opacity to about 47.
Duplicate your merged layer again, this time twice so you should have a total of three. On the bottom copy go to your plugins-dsb flux linear transmission-vertical, size 4, offset 6,blend 0. Repeat this on the middle copy of the merged layer but this time click horizontal instead of vertical.

Now copy and paste your main tube as a new layer. Resize if needed and position to one side or how you think it looks best. Give it a drop shadow of choice.

This is the time if you wish to resize your entire tag to do so. Go to image-resize, make sure you choose pixels in the drop box, make sure all layers and lock aspect ratiois checked. Change the pixels to the size you want and click ok.

Add your copyright so it is clearly visible. Add your name in a font of choice. I used a thick font first in all caps. Convert to raster. Then added a gradient glow from eye candy 4000 with a size of 3, soft corners 25, opacity 100, then chose a light color first and added another color tab with a darker color last. If you dont have this filter you can play around with using a colored drop shadow.Next i added the name again in a small script font and gave it a black drop shadow.

For this tutorial you will need

Two tubes of choice from the same artist. I am using the work of Rebecca Sinz, you must purchase a license from AMI to use her work http://www.artisticmindsinc.com/.

Scrapkit- I am using a PTU kit called Wounded Hearts by Kellsinator which you can get here http://digitalchaos.net/store/.

New Image-500x500-transparent.

Paste a paper of choice as your background layer.

Paste the frame1 as a new layer and resize a little using the pick tool, the little arrow, and drag it by a corner to the size you need. Position to the top left of the tag.Duplicate and go image mirror. See my tag for reference to how this should look.

Choose a paper for the frame background. Paste it as a new layer and move it below the frame layers. Grab your magic wand-mode is add, match mode is rgb, tolerance 20, feather 0, anti-alias and contiguous checked.Make one of the frame layers active and click in the center with the magic wand, go to selections-modify-expand by three, selections invert, and on the paper layer you chose for the frames hit delete. Select none. Nowpaste that same paper again and make the other frame layer active, click inside with the magic wand, and follow the same steps we just did.

Both of these paper layers should be below the frame layers.

Paste your first tube as a new layer, if needed resize just a little, and position the part you want to show through the first frame into place. Grab the magic wand with the same settings, make the frame layer active that you are currently using, click in the center and selections-modify-expand by 3, invert and on the tube layer hit delete. Make sure this layer is below both frame layers. Repeat these steps for the second frame and tube.

Once happy with the tube placements, give them both a slight drop shadow of choice.

Paste the swag2 as a new layer, resize about like mine and position in the top center of the frames. Give it a drop shadow and the duplicate it and go image mirror. This should place it on the right side of the tag, if not justpostion it to the right as i have mine. Duplicate this one and drag it over to the left side of the tag. Try to position them so they look like they are all connected. See my tag for reference.

Paste flower3 as a new layer and if needed resize, position on the bottom left of the frames.

Duplicate and mirror and position this one about the same as the one on the left. See my tag again for placement. Give each flower a drop shadow.

Paste satin pillow1 as a new layer and resize and position in the center of the two flowers we pasted.

Paste a butterfly as a new layer, resize, and position as i have mine, I then duplicated it and mirrored it and slid it down some. See my tag for placement or place how you like. Give them both a drop shadow.

Almost done. Paste one of the glitters as a new layer, resize and position to one side on the bottom of the tag. Duplicate and mirror. If needed reposition slightly.

Because i made my tag a size of 500x500, i did not resize it but if you wish to resize yours, now is the time to do so. Use the image resize method, only this time change the percent to pixels, make sure all layers and lock aspect ratio is checked, and change the size you want.

Now add your copyright so it is CLEARLY visible.

Add your name and center it between the two glitter spots. Give it a drop shadow of choice, I used a white drop shadow with a blur of only 2.

Save and you are done!!

Glacial Masquerade

For this tutorial you will need

A tube of choice. I am using the work of Barbara Jensen, you must purchase a license to use her work http://eroticartistgallery.com/.

Filters-vm tool box-optional

Scrapkit- I am using a FTU kit called Glacial Submission by Kellsinator which you can get here http://www.knksdesigns-4-psp.com/index.php?pid=474.

New Image-500x500-transparent.

Paste a paper of choice as a new layer and if needed resize by going to image-resize-make sure it says percent and not pixels, about 85%. Repeat if needed.

Copy and past element2, the hearts border, as a new layer. Resize using the pick tool, the arrow, and drag a corner of the box to the size you need. We want it to go across the length of the tag.Position this near the top of the tag. See my tag for reference. Duplicate this and go image flip. You should now have one on top and one on bottom. Right click on the one that is on top in the layer palette and merge down so they are one layer.

Duplicate this layer and go image-free rotate-right-90 degrees, all layers and rotate single layer unchecked. Now you should have a border all the way around your tag. Again see my tag for reference and merge these border layers together so they are all one layer.

Copy and paste element1, the mask, as a new layer and resize. Position in the top left corner just inside the border and rotate slightly using the pick tool. Give it a drop shadow by going to effects-3d effects-drop shadow- -1,-1,80,5, black. Move this layer below the border layer.

Duplicate the mask layer and go image mirror. See my tag for how this should look.

Copy and paste element7, a doodle, resize a little using the pick tool, position on the right side of the tag so it fits nicely inside the border. See my tag for reference. Duplicate this layer and go image mirror.Now you have one on each side. Merge these two together. Move this layer below the border layer.

Paste your tube as a new layer, resize if needed, position in the center of the tag and move this layer below the border layers also. Give it a drop shadow of choice.

Open one of the flowers. I used element14. Paste as a new layer. Resize slightly if needed and position in the bottom left corner. Once happy with placement, duplicate and mirror. Make sure these are above the border layer.

Give each flower a drop shadow of choice.

This next part is optional. I duplicated my border layer and on the original i went to vm tool box-zoom blur-28,0.

Now add your copyright so it is CLEARLY visible.

Add your name. Give it a drop shadow of choice.

Save and you are done!!

Marble Madness

For this tutorial you will need

A tube of choice. I am using a Free to Use tube by Ismael Rac. If you wish to use this tube, visit his site here http://xeracx.com/v4/. NOTE: As of May 17,2009, there are only two of his tubes that are FTU, they are silk, and cat. I used the cat tube.

Filters-Xero porcelain, VM Natural- marble madness and cross weave, VM Extravaganza transmission, Mura's Meister copies, DSB Flux blastEye candy 4000(optional)

New image-600x600-transparent.

Choose two colors from your tube for the foreground and background. Change your foreground to gradient, find your foreground/background gradient in the drop box, style linear,angle 45, repeats 0. Flood fill your background layer with this gradient.

Grab your preset shape too, set to rectangle, width of 5, create as vector and anti-alias checked.

Make your foreground white, or a very light color from your tube, background null.Draw out a rectangle about the size of mine and place it in the right center of the tag. See my tag for reference.

Change your foreground to a light color and your background to a darker color from your tube, and again make your foreground to gradient and use same settings as before.

Grab your magic wand tool, mode is add, match mode is rgb, tolerance 20, feather 0, contiguous and anti-alias checked, Click in the center of the rectangle we made. Selections-modify-expand by 2.Keep selected and add a new layer, flood fill this layer with the gradient. Select none. Move this layer below the rectangle layer.

dd your main tube and position to the left of the rectangle, see my tag for reference, if needed resize using the pick tool, the arrow tool, and drag the box you see by a corner to the size you want. You can also resize by going to image-resize, make sure lock aspect ratio is checked and all layers unchecked, and start with about 85-90%. If needed you canalways repeat this step.

Now copy and paste the original tube again as a new layer, or if yours came with a close up use that, and position the part you want to see inside the rectangle. Once happy with the placement, grab your magic wand again and make your rectangle layer active. Click inside the rectangle, go to selections-modify-expand by 2, then selections invert, make the tube layer for the rectangle active again and hit delete. Select none. Move this layer below the rectangle layer but above the gradient.

Still on this tube layer, go to effects-filters-xero porcelain-50,200,134,0,0,255. Now double click on this layer and change the blend mode to hard light, and the opacity to 80.
Use the same porcelain effect on the gradient layer for the rectangle.

Add a new layer just above your background layer. Flood fill with a medium color from your tube. Go to effects-filters-vm natural-marble madness-4,22,22,255. Now double click this layer and change the blend mode to soft light.

On the gradient layer we used for the rectangle, go to effects-filters-vm natural-cross weave-11,238,0,1,0,205,19. Dont worry if anything is outside the rectangle, we will adjust that.

Still on this layer go to effect-texture effects-mosaic antique-columns and rows 25, symmetric checked, then under mosaic settings-70,2,5. Repeat this effect with the same settings.

Now to get rid of any excess make your rectangle layer active and click inside with the magic wand, same settings, and go selections invert, make the mosaic layer active and hit delete.Select none.

On your rectangle layer-go to effects-3d effects-drop shadow-just click ok if it says you must convert to raster or something to that effect-settings-0,0,100,10,black.

Now hide your background layer, your layer just above that(the one we did the marble madness on), and your main tube layer. To hide them just click the little eye next to each one.What you should be left with is the rectangle, the tube inside the rectangle, and the mosaic fill for the rectangle.

Make your rectangle layer active and right click it and go to merge-merge visible.
Unhide the other layers now.

Duplicate your merged layer and on the original go effects-filters-muras meister copies-in the preset drop box choose after image(rotate random),then from top to bottom settings are11,0,0,0,5,0,100,0,100,0,0,30,100, both boxes unchecked.

Give your tube layer a drob shadow of 0,5,80,10. Repeat the drop shadow changing only the 5 to -5.

Hide the two background layers, and make your tube layer active. Right click and merge visible. Unhide the two background layers.

Duplicate this merged layer and on the original go to effects-filters-vm extravaganza-transmission-3,8,40. Now go effects-filters-dsb flux-blast-direction left, click percntage and set to 20%, ok.Repeat the blast but change the direction to right.

Almost done. Duplicate this blasted layer and on the bottom on go effects-texture effects-mosaic antiqued-columns and rows 50, symmetric checked, mosaic settings-70,2,17.

Now is the time if you wish to resize your tag to do so. Use the image-resize-make sure all layers are checked and lock aspect ratio is checked, change the percent to pixels, and thenchoose the size you want. When you change one size, the other will automaticly change to keep your tag proportionate.

Now add your copyright so it is clearly visible. Add your name. I added a glow to my name using eye candy 4000, but this is up to you. The settings i used are under the basic tab-3,25,100-thenunder the color tab i chose fat and then slid the second slider bar back toward the first one a little, white for color, and 100 for opacity. I then gaVe it a drop shadow of-2,0,80,5,black.

Now you can leave your tag as is and save or you can add a border. To add a border simply go to image-add borders-in the first drop box it should say pixels, make sure the symmetric box is checked,size for all is 5, color is white(or a color of your choice).

Thats it, save and you are done!

For this tutorial you will need

Three tubes of choice from same artist. I am using the work of Rebecca Sinz. In order to use the image in this tutorial you MUST purchase it from AMI, http://www.artisticmindsinc.com/.

Scrapkit I am using is a PTU kit by Foxy called Red of the Dragon, which you can purchase here: http://digitalchaos.net/store/

New Image-500x500-transparent

Choose a paper for your background and paste as a new layer. If needed, resize by going to image-resize-choose percent-make sure lock aspect ratio is checked and all layers is un checked.Choose about 85%. If needed repeat this step until the paper is the size you want.

Paste the pent_fd, see my tag for reference, as a new layer. I did not resize mine but you may if you wish. You can use the pick tool, which is the little arrow, to drag the box by a corner to the size you want.

Give it a drop shadow of h+v 0, opacity 100, blur 10, color black.

Paste one of the frames as a new layer and resize using the pick tool. See my tag for size. Position it to the right toward the top of the tag. Give it a drop shadow of 3,3,100,4,white.

Repeat this drop shadow only changingboth h+v to -3. Now repeat the drop shadow again but this time make the settings 0,0,100,5 black.

Duplicate the frame and postion directly below the first one. See my tag for placement.

Choose a paper to go inside the frames. Paste as a new layer. Move this layer below your frame layers. Resize by about 85% and position so it shows through both frames. Grab your selection tool and set it to rectangle. Mode is add, feather 0. Draw a selection a little bigger than the inside of the frame. Keep selected and do the same thing to the other frame. Now go to selections invert, make sure your paper layer is the active layer and hit delete on your keyboard.Select none. You should now only have the paper showing through the frame.

Pick one of your tubes to go inside your first frame. Paste it as a new layer and resize by 85%. Move this layer below the frame but above the papers. Position so the face shows through the first frame. Grab your selection tool again and makethe same selection as you did above. Go selections invert, make sure the tube layer is active and hit delete. Select none. Now repeat this using another tube for the second frame.

Change the blend mode on both tube layers to luminance legacy. To do this just double click on the layer you wish to change and under blend mode change it.
Now paste your main tube as a new layer. Position and resize as you like or how i have mine. I did not resize mine. Give it a drop shadow of 0,-2,100,5,black.

Paste a flower, or in this case it was called medal, as a new layer and resize with the pick tool. Position in the top left corner. Give it the same drop shadow we just used except change the blur to 2 instead of 5. Duplicate this layer and position in the right top corner. Duplicate again and positionin the bottom right corner. Duplicate this one and position in the bottom left corner. And one more time duplicate and position so it is on the left side of the two frames touching both corners, see my tag for placement.Make sure these are all above the frame layers.

Add your copyright so it is clearly visible. Add your name.

Give your name a drop shadow of 0,-3,100,2, white. then repeat changing the -3 to 3. Now give it another drop shadow of 0,0,100,5, black.

Save and you are done!

For this tutorial you will need

A tube of choice. I am using the work of Myka Jelina. In order to use the image in this tutorial you MUST purchase it from CILM. http://www.cilm.com/

Mask of choice, I am using a mask by Essex girl http://www.essexgirl.uk.com/default.htm Just click on masks and go to page 18 if you want the one i used.

Filters-eyecandy 4000, Muras meister copies,

New image-500x500-transparent.

Grab your preset shape tool and set to rectangle, create as vector checked, width of 10, Foreground a color from your tube, background null.
Draw our a rectangle about the size of mine. Position in the top center. Right click this layer and convert to raster.

Get your magic wand tool. Mode is add, match mode is rgb, feather 0, tolerance 20. Click in the center of your rectangle. Selections, modify, expand by 5. Keep selected.

Add a new layer. Pick two colors from your tube for you foreground and background. Change the foreground to gradient, linear, angle 45, repeats 0. Flood fill the new layer with the gradient. Keep selected.

Add your mask by going to layers, load/save mask, load from disk, in the drop box find the mask you chose, fit to canvas, hide all, and source luminance checked. Now right click on the mask layer and merge group. Keep selected.

Make a new layer and flood fill with white. Drag this layer below the masked layer. Duplicate it and hide the bottom one by clicking the eye next to it. DO NOT DESELECT YET.

Duplicate your masked layer three times for a total of four. Right click on the bottom mask layer and merge down. This should merge it with the visible white layer we filled. Hide this layer and
unhide the other white layer. Put this white rectangle layer above the one we just merged. Now you should have from the bottom, not including the background, one merged mask layer, one white rectangle layer, and three of the masked layers, and the colored rectangle frame we made.

Making sure your rectangle selection is still there, the marching ants, on the top masked layer, go to plugins, eyecandy 400, HSB noise, hue 0, saturation 71, brightness 34, opacity 0, lump width and height 8.32, pattern is smooth fractal, roughness is 50, seamless tile checked, click random seed once. Hide this layer and Repeat this on the next two masked layers, clicking random seed once each time. Leave the third mask layer visible. Finally go selections, select none.

Now drag the merged mask layer, the one we merged with the white rectangle layer, to just under the rectangle frame. Make the rectangle frame layer active and paste your tube as a new layer. Resize it if needed using the pick tool, the arrow tool, and drag it by a corner to the size you want so it fits nicely in the rectangle frame. See my tag for reference. Once happy with it, use the eyecandy 4000 shadowlab to give it a drop shadow of choice.

Now click on your tube layer and merge down to your rectangle frame. Duplicate this merged layer. On the bottom one, merge it down with the merged mask layer. Drag this layer to the bottom, just above the white background. Go to image resize, 75%, all layers unchecked.

Go to Muras meister copies, 9,40,55,0,0,0,100,0,0,30,0, and the three little drop boxes should be shift mode, tile mode and blend mode. Duplicate and go image mirror. Now right click and merge down. Right click again and change the blend mode to hard light.

On the background layer, choose two different colors for your foreground and background, change to gradient, sunburst, repeats 0. Flood fill the background with this gradient.

Make your top layer active, this should be the tube merged with the rectangle. Give it a drop shadow of 2,2,77,5, black. Repeat the drop shadow changing to -2.

Add your copyright so it is clearly visible. Add your name. Give it a drop shadow of choice.

Now you can save and leave as is, or you can animate. To animate, make sure your top two masked layers are still hidden. Make the visible one active and go to edit, copy merged.

Open animation shop and go edit, paste as new animation. Back in psp, hide this layer and make the middle masked layer active and unhide it. Edit copy merged, back to animation shop, edit , paste after current frame. and one last time back to psp, hide this layer and unhide the top masked layer and make it active. Copy merged and back to animation shop, paste after current frame. Go edit, select all. Animation, frame properties set to 20. now view animation and save.

Thats it, your done!

Star boots

For this tutorial you will need A tube of choice. I am using the work of Ismael Rac. You must purchase a license from MPT, http://www.mypsptubes.com/, in order to use this image.

Filters-eycandy 4000 swirl, Xenofex2 constellation.Eye candy 5 textures or if you dont have this then you need a striped scrap paper.

Mask of choice. I am using a mask by WeeScottLass-wsl_mask299. http://weescotslasscreations.blogspot.com/

New Image-500x500-transparent.

Flood fill with white.

Add a new layer. Flood fill with a color or gradient to match your tube. Go to effects-plugins-eyecandy 5 textures-texture noise. Settings are add noise to original clicked,hue noise 0, saturation noise 28, brightness noise 58,opacity noise 0, rotate 90, texture smooth lumps, texture feature width 1000.00, textureheight 4.91, seamless texture checked, random seed 1.If you dont have eye candy 5 textures, then you will need to paste the striped scrap paper you chose rather than filling with a color or gradient.

Now we are going to add the mask. Go to layers-load/save mask-load from disk, find your mask in the drop box, source luminance, fit to canvas, hide all, and invertchecked. Right click on the mask layer and merge group.

Click your preset shapes tool. Set it to a star shape. Width 5, create as vector and anti alias checked. Foreground black, background a color to match your tube. Draw out a star shape the size of your canvas. See my tag for reference. Go to objects-align-center in canvas. Right click this layer and convert to raster.

Grab your magic wand. Mode is add, match mode is rgb, tolerance 20, feather 0. Click in the center of your star. Go to effects-plugins-eye candy 4000-swirl-5, 4.31, 60, 40, seamlesstile unchecked, random seed 1. Keep selected.

Go to effects-3d effects-inner bevel-bevel 2, width 5, smoothness 11, depth 5, ambience 21, shininess 18, color white, angle 315, intensity 40, elevation 34. Keep selected.

Now on your tube, do not paste it yet, go to image mirror. Now copy and paste it as a new layer. Change your pick too, the little arrow, to the move tool by clicking the little arrow next to it. With the move tool, position the part of the tube you want to show in the star. My tube came witha close up so i used that, Once happy with placement, go selections-invert-delete. Select none. Right click on this tube layer and change the blend mode to luminance legacy.

Now, back on the star layer, use your magic wand and click the outline of the star. Give it the same inner bevel. Select none.

Right click on the tube layer and merge down so you star and tube are now on one layer.
Draw out another star shape, smaller this time, and position it in the top left corner. See my tag for placement.

Follow the same steps we used for the big star for the swirl and innerbevel. Once that is done, duplicate the small one and go image mirror. Now you should have one on the right side of the tag also.

Paste your main tube as a new layer and position to the left of the tag or how you think it looks best. If needed resize by using the pick tool and drag the box by a corner to the size you like.

Give each star layer a drop shadow of choice.

Duplicate the big star with the tube in it twice for a total of three. Starting with the one on top, go to effects- plugins-xenofex2-constellation-2,57,15,0,100,75,rotation 45, keep original clicked, random seed 1. Now hide this layer by clicking the eye next to it and make the next star layer active. Repeat the constellation effect with same settings, but this time click random seed once. Hide this layer and make the last star layer active.Again, repeat the constellation clicking random seed once.

Now i did not resize my tag this time but if you wish to resize yours now is the time to do it. Go to image-resize-make sure all layers and lock aspect ratio is checked, and change the percent to pixels, choose the size you want.

Now add your copyright so it is clearly visible.

Add your name and give it a drop shadow.

And now for the animation. Make sure the top two star layers are still hid. Click on the visible one to make it active. Go to edit-copy merged. Now go to animation shop. Paste as new animation. Back to psp, hide the layer we just did and unhide the next star layer and click it to make it active. Go to edit-copy merged. In animation shop-edit-paste after current frame. And back to psp one last time. Hide this layer and unhide the last star layer and make it active. Edit copy merged. Back to animation shop, edit paste after current frame.

Still in animation shop, go edit select all. Now go animation-frame properties-15. Veiw animation and save.

Thats it, you are done.

Angel of Rock

Grungy type mask of choice. I am using a mask by WeeScottLass, wsl_mask60. http://weescotslasscreations.blogspot.com/

Filters-DSB Flux linear transmission, Eye candy 4000(optional), Muras Meister Copies

New image-500x500-transparent.

Flood fill with black.

Add a new layer and choose a color from your tube. Flood fill this layer with the color you chose.

Go to layers-load/save mask-load mask from disk. Find your mask in the drop box,source luminance, fit to layer, and hide all checked.

Right click on the mask layer and choose merge group. Now resize by going to image-resize-about 115 percent, all layers unchecked.

Duplicate this layer and go to effects-plugins-dsb flux-linear transmission-4,5,50,horizontal. The go to effects-edge effects-enhance.

Grab your text tool and in a font and color of choice, type out the words Angel Of Rock or words of choice.

Right click this layer and convert to raster. Center it in your tag and duplicate. Move the duplicate below the orignal just a little and position more to the left of the tag.Duplicate this one and move the duplicate right next to it. Now right click on this layer and go merge down. Do this until all three text layers are merged into one.

On your text layer, go to effects, plugins, muras meister copies, in the preset drop box, the one below the preview screen, choose tiling, then in the other three it is line, tile,and blend. Settings are1,50,50,0,0,0,100,0,100,-19,0,30,0. Still on this layer, apply your mask again as we did earlier and merge group.

Add a new layer. On this layer i used my picture tubes tool and add a flower that i had in my picture tubes in the top left corner. Position how i have mine, so that only half of the flower can be seen. See my tag for reference. Once happy, duplicate this and go image, mirror. Merge these two layers together. Duplicate the merged layer and go image flip. And merge these two so now all your flowers should be on one layerand there should be one in each corner. Right click on this layer and change the blend to hard light and the opacity to 15.

Add your tube as a new layer. Resize if needed. Center it in your tag. Give it a drop shadow of choice. I used eye candy 4000 shadow lab with these settings-direction of 189,28.80,59,3.11,0,color black, draw only checked.You can get a similar effect using the normal drop shadow effect also if you dont have eye candy 4000.

Now is the time if you wish to resize your entire tag to do so. Go to image-resize-choose pixels, and make sure all layers and lock aspect ratio is checked, then change it to the size you want.

Add your copyright so it is clearly visible.

Add your name. Give your name a different drop shadow.

Thats it, save and you are done!

DSB Flux- bubbles and radial mosaic

New Image-500x500-transparent

New raster layer. Flood fill with white.

Choose a color or gradient to match your tube for your foreground color. We will use this for our background.

Add a new layer and flood fill with the color you chose.
Go to effects-plugins-fantastic machines paint engine. Just click random till you find one you like.

Again go to effects-plugins-this time dsb flux bubbles with these settings-4,75,50,0.

Still on the background layer, go effects-reflection effects-kaleidoscope-image area settings are -100,66,117,-15, and kaleidoscope settings area are 6,0,31, and choose wrap.

This next part is optional, I used xenofex2 constellation under plugins with these settings-2,2,19,93,75, twinkle rotation 45, keep original clicked and click random seed once. This is just to give the background a little dressing up.

Now paste your tube as a new layer. Duplicate it and hide one of them by clicking the eye next to it. On the visible one, position in the center of your tag. Do not resize it. Double click on this layerand change the blend to hard light and the opacity to 60. Now Go to effects-plugins-dsb flux-radial mosaic-7,30,13.

Duplicate this layer and go image-mirror.

Unhide the other tube and resize it using the pick tool, the little arrow tool, and drag the box by a corner to the size you want it. Position how you like or see my tag for placement. Once happy, duplicate this layer. Go image-mirror. Position toward the top of your tag and slide it over so you can see the face in the part we used the radial mosaic on. See my tag for reference. Change the blend mode to lighten and the opacity to 20. See my tag for how this should look.

Now is the time if you wish to resize your tag to do so. Go to image-resize-make sure lock aspect ratio and all layers is checked, change the percent to pixels and choose the size you want, when you change one size, the otherwill automaticly adjust.

Add your copyright so it is clearly visible.

Add your name. Give it a drop shadow, i used -2,-2,100,5,black.

Save and you are done!

Rotating Flower Power

For this tutorial you will need

A tube of choice. I am using the work of Jasmine Becket Griffith, In order to use the image in this tutorial you MUST purchase it from CILM. http://www.cilm.com/

Filters- Fantastic machines paint engineandrews filters 8 tow the line(there is another filter set with tow the line but i cant remember what it is)

Mask. I am using a mask by Weescotlass, it is wsl_mask53. You can find her masks here http://weescotslasscreations.blogspot.com/ Save the mask to your psp masks folder.

Animation shop(optional)

New image-500x500-transparent

Choose two colors for your foreground and your background that match your tube. In the foreground, change it to gradient, and in the drop box choose foreground/background, angle 45, repeats 0. Add a new layer and flood fill with your gradient.

Go to effects-plugins-fantastic machines paint engine, just keep hitting random till you find one you like.

Now go to effects-plugins-andrews filters 8-tow the line-settings are 80,54,48,9.

Add a new layer. Flood fill with another color from your tube. Go to layers-load/save mask-load from disk. Find the mask you chose in the drop box, hide all, source luminance and fit to canvas all checked. Right click on the mask layer and go merge group.

Give it a drop shadow by going to effects-3d effects-drop shadow. I used 0,0,100,10,black.

Grab your preset shape tool and choose one of the flower shapes. I used flower2. Width is 10, create as vector and anti-alias checked, retain style unchecked, line style is solid. Choose a bright color for your foreground and a darker color for the background. Draw out a flower shape.

Move this layer below your mask layer and position so part of it sticks out of the top left side. See my tag for placement. Duplicate this layer and go image-mirror. Then go image-flip. You should now have another flower in the bottom rightside of the tag sticking out from under your mask. Again, see my tag for placement.

Give each flower a drop shadow. Duplicate the top flower layer. Right click on the top one and choose merge down. Now you should have one layer with two flowers and one single flower on a layer of its own.

Make the single flower layer active. Position it to the top right of the tag so it sticks out of the mask. You may need to use the pick tool, the arrow, to slightly rotate it. Put it how you think it looks best. Once happy, duplicate it and go image mirror, and image flip. This should put it in the bottom left of the tag. You may need to reposition it a little. Once happy, right click and choose merge down again. Now you should have two merged flower layers.

Merge the two flower layers together the same way so now you have just one. Duplicate this layer. On the bottom layer, go to effects-reflection effects-kaleidoscope-settings under image area are -100, -100, 151,-90, the settings under the kaleidoscope settings are 6,0,29 and choose wrap.

If you want your tag animated, follow these steps:
Okay, bear with me here. Duplicate the merged flower layer three times for a total of four. Now we are going to start on the bottom layer. Leave the bottom one the way it is and click on the second layer, just above the bottom one. Go to image-free rotate-left-45 degrees-both boxes unchecked. On the next layer, which should be the third from the bottom one, repeat the rotate but make it 90 degrees. And on the fourth layer, which is the top one, repeat the rotate changing it to 135 degrees. Hide all the merged flower layers except the bottom one by clicking the eye next to each one.

Add your tube and resize it if needed. Position so it is somewhat inside the mask layer. See my tag for reference. Give it a drop shadow.

I didnt resize my tag but if you want to with yours then now is the time to do it. Go to image-resize-make sure all layers and lock aspect ratio is checked. Choose pixels and change it to the size you want.

Add your copyright so it is clearly visible.

Now to add your name like I did, you need to grab your preset shape tool and set it to ellipse. Width of 14, colors dont matter. Draw out a circle the same size about as your mask. If needed, position it so it is directly over your mask. Now grab your text tool and hover it over the circle we just made until you seethe A with a half circle type line under it, then click. Add your name several times putting a couple spaces in between each one. You may have to play around with spacing to till you get it just right. Once happy, click the plus sign next to this layer, it will change to a minus sign and You will now see one layer with the circle, and another with the text. Click the eye next to the circle layer to hide it. On your tag you should now only see your name. Click the minus sign, it will change back to a plus sign and it is now back to showing one layer. Right click and convert to raster. Give it a drop shadow of choice.

Now you can leave as is and save and be done, or you can animate.

To animate, open animation shop. In psp, make sure all the flower layers except the bottom one are hidden. click on the bottom flower layer. Go to edit, copy merged.In animation shop, paste as new animation. Back to psp, hide the bottom layer and unhide the second layer, the one just above, and click it to make it active. Go to edit copy merged.Back to animation shop, edit-paste after current frame. Back in psp, hide this layer and unhide the third layer and make it active. Edit copy merged. Back to animation shop, edit paste after current frame.One more time back to psp. Hide this layer and make the top flower layer active and unhide it. Edit copy merged. And back to animation shop, paste after current frame.Edit-select all. Animation-frame properties-40. View animation and save and you are done!

Valentine Treat

For this tutorial you will need

Scrapkit. I am using a PTU kit by Melisa called Say it With... You can purchase it here http://cottoncandykreations.com/shop/

Mask. I am using a mask by Weescotlass wsl_mask214. http://weescotslasscreations.blogspot.com/ Save the mask to your psp masks folder.

A tube of choice. I am using the work of Keith Garvey, you must purchase a license from MPT, http://www.mypsptubes.com/, in order to use his work.

New image-600x600-transparent.

Flood fill with white.

Choose a paper for your background and paste as a new layer. If it is too big, go to image-resize-about 85%-all layers unchecked. If it is still too big you can repeat this step.

Go to layers-load/save mask-load from disk. In the drop box, find the mask, Source luminance, hide all, and fit to canvas all checked. Invert transparency unchecked.

I then resized my mask layer by 115%. Right click on the mask layer and choose merge group.

Duplicate your merged mask layer to make it stand out more. Right click on the top one and go layers- merge down.

Paste a frame as a new layer. If needed, resize it using the pick tool, arrow tool, and drag the box by a corner to the size you want. Position so it is centered over your masked layer.

Give your frame layer a drop shadow by going to effects-3d effects-drop shadow. I used 0,0,100,10,black.

Paste one of the butterflies as a new layer. Resize if needed and position on the top left of the frame.

Make your white background active and paste the heart charms as a new layer. Resize if needed. I left mine in the position they were in when i pasted them.

Make your frame layer active and paste one of the candles as a new layer. Resize it and position at the bottom of your tag on one side of the frame. See my tag for reference. Duplicate this layer and postion on the other side of the frame. Again see my tag for placement.

Give each candle a drop shadow, this time I used 0,1,70,black. On the second candle i used -1 instead of 1.

Paste a flower as a new layer and resize. Move this layer below your frame layer. Position so it sticks out of one side toward the bottom. Duplicate several times and arrange them along the side of the frame. Iduplicated mine four times for a total of five. See my tag for placement.

Now, starting with the top flower layer, right click and go merge down. Do this on each flower layer except the very last one, until only the flowers are all on one layer.

Duplicate this layer and go image mirror. Now you should have flowers on both sides.
You will need to grab your eraser tool, i used a size of 32, to erase the bits of flowers on both layers that show inside of the frame.

Paste your tube as a new layer. Resize if needed. Position how you like or how i have mine if you are using a similar tube. Give it a drop shadow of choice. Make sure this layer is at the top.

Paste any other embellishments you wish. I pasted some hearts on each side of the candles.

Now is the time if you wish to resize your entire tag to do so. Go to image-resize. Choose pixels instead of percent, make sure lock aspect ratio and all layers is Checked. Change the size to what you want, i use 500x500. When you change one theother automaticly changes.

Add your copyright so it is clearly visible.

Add your name. Position how you like and give it a drop shadow.

Thats it, you are done!

Purple Rose

For this tutorial you will need
Scrapkit. I am using a PTU kit called Cover Me in Roses by Crimson Butterfly Scrapz, formerly known as Giggly Girl Scrapz. You can purchase the kit here: www.digitalchaos.net

A tube of choice. I am using the work of Myka Jelina. In order to use the image in this tutorial you MUST purchase it from CILM. www.cilm.com

New image-600x600-transparent.

Flood fill with white.

Paste a paper as a new layer for your background. If it is too big, resize it by going to image resize, start with about 85%, make sure all layers is unchecked.

Paste a frame as a new layer. If needed, resize it using the pick tool, the arrow, and drag the box by a corner to the size you want.

Choose a paper for the inside of the frame. Make your background paper active, and paste the new paper as a new layer. Position it how you want to show through the frame.

Make you frame layer active and grab your selection tool. Make sure it is set to rectangle. Mode is add, feather 0. Draw a rectangle over your frame so it is about the same sizewithout going over the outer edge. Make your paper layer active and go selections-invert, and hit delete. Select none.

Make your top layer active. Open the flower ribbon and paste as a new layer. Resize it using the pick tool, the arrow, and drag it by a corner to the size you want. Position at the top of your tag. See my tag for placement. Duplicate this and go to image flip. You should now have one on top and one on bottom.

Place some roses as a new layer and arrange them inside your frame however you want. I put two on one side, two in the middle and two on the other side. To delete the parts that hang out, grab your selection tool again, same settings as before and draw the selection around your frame. Go selections-invert, and on each rose layer hit delete. Select none. Move the roses below the frame layer.

Now paste charm as a new layer. If needed resize a little. Place to the left side inside the frame. Duplicate it, and mirror and position inside the frame as i have mine. Give each charm a drop shadow of choice.

Paste your tube as a new layer. Resize it if needed. Position to the right side of your frame.
Make sure this layer is above your frame layer. Give it a drop shadow.

Now is the time to resize your entire tag if you wish to do so. Go to image-resize-choose pixels in the drop box, make sure lock aspect ratio is checked, then change the size to what you want, i use 500x500. When you change one, the other should automatcily change. Make sure all layers is checked.

Now add your copyright so it is clearly visible.

Add your name. Give it a drop shadow.

Thats it, you are done!

Brown eyes

New Image-600x600-transparent.

Flood Fill with white.

Paste a paper of choice as a new layer. This will be our background. If the paper is too big, go to image-resize-make sure it says percent,start with about 85%, make sure all layers is unchecked. If the paper is still too big, you can repeat this step.

Choose a frame and paste it as a new layer. Resize it if needed using the pick tool, the little arrow tool, and drag the box by a corner to the size you want.

Choose a paper for the inside of the frame. Grab your magic wand, mode is add, match mode rgb, tolerance 20, feather 0, anti alias checked,click in the empty space of your frame, mine has two empty spaces so i clicked insideboth. Go to selections-modify-expand by 4.

Paste your paper as a new layer and go selections-invert-delete. Select none. Move this layer below the frame layer.

Give your frame layer a drop shadow, I used 0,0,100,5,black.

Make your background paper layer active. Paste a flower as a new layer. Resize if needed.

Position to the left of your tag so it sticks out from under the frame. See my tag for reference. Duplicate it and go image mirror, then postion it next to the first one. Again see my tag for placement.

Paste one of your doodles as a new layer and position to the right side of your frame. Move this layer below your flower layers. Duplicate it and go image mirror. Nowyou should have one on each side.

I then pasted a second doodle and positioned it kind of in the center of the tag but a little to one side. I then duplicated this layer and went to image mirror. Position in the center but a littleto the opposite side of the other one. See my tag for reference. Merge these two layers together but right clicking whichever one is on top and choose layers-merge down. Duplicate and go image flip and position so it matches the one that sticks out the top. Again, see my tag for placement.

Give the two doodle layers that we didnt merge a drop shadow.

Paste your tube as a new layer. I have two parts to my frame. For the left side, i positioned my tube so the eyes were showing through the frame. Duplicate your tube and go image mirror. This is for the right side of the frame. I resized my tube and positioned so the face shows through the frame. Once happy with placement of both sides, make your frame layer active.

Click in each side with the magic wand, selections-modify-expand by 6. Selections invert. Make the first tube layer active and hit delete. Now make the other tube layer active and hit delete. Select none.

Move both tube layers below the frame but above the paper.

Paste a bow as a new layer and position on the top center of the frame. Give it a drop shadow.

Make your paper background active. Paste a heart as a new layer. Resize it and position to the right of the tag so it sticks out of the frame. See my tag for reference.

Make your frame layer active and paste the journal block as a new layer. Position on the bottom center of your tag just below the frame.

Now is the time to resize your entire tag if you wish. Go to image-resize, in the drop box choose pixels, make sure lock aspcet ratio and all layers are checked. Change it to the size you want, i chose 500x500. When you change one, the other should automaticly change.

Add your copyright so it is clearly visible.

Add your name. Give your name a drop shadow, I used -1,-1,100,5,black.

Thats it, you are done!

Thunder Rolls

For this tutorial you will need

Three tubes of choice from the same artist. I am using the work of Rebecca Sinz. You must purchase a license from AMI, http://www.artisticmindsinc.com/, to use her work.

Filters- Xenofex 2 and Mura's Meister cloud

New image-500x500-transparent.

Flood fill with a gradient to match your tube. I used a linear style, foreground/background, angle of 45 and 0 repeats.

Duplicate this layer twice for a total of three.

On the top one, go Effects-plugins-mura's meister cloud-the top color is white, the middle black, and the bottom one a color from your tubes. Effect 100, amount 100, grain 3, all others are 0. Repeat on the middle one but change the amount to 115. And once more, repeat on the bottom one only change the amount to 130. Hide the bottom two layers by clicking the eye next to them.

Paste on of the tubes as a new layer. Resize if needed just a little using the pick tool, the arrow tool, and drag the box by one of the corners to the size you need. Postion in the top left sideof the tag. Right click on the layer and change the opacity to about 9. You may need to adjust this depending on your tube and colors chosen.

Paste the second tube and resize the same way. Position in the top right corner and again change the opacity to about 9, or whatever amount you used on the first tube.

Paste your main tube as a new layer. If needed resize. Position in the center of the tag. See my tag for reference.

Make your top cloud layer active and add a new layer. Go to effects, plugins, xenofex2-lightening-under the basic tab, 16,92,90,36 and click random seed once. Under the glow tab, 50,71,73, and the colors are white for inner and a very light aqua for outer.okay.

Add another new layer and repeat the lightening effect with the same settings clicking the random seed button again.

Hide the bottom lightening layer.

Make your main tube layer active and add a new layer. Move this below your tube layer. Type out the words or lyrics of your choice. I used a size of 24 for my text. Position in the top center of your tag. See my tag for reference.

If you made your tag larger then mine and wish to resize it, now is the time to do so. Go to image resize, make sure all layers is checked and choose your size.

Add your copyright so it is clearly visible.

Add your name. Convert to raster. Give it a slight drop shadow. Go selections-select all-float-defloat. Use the lightning effect we used earlier. Selections-invert-hit delete. Select none.

Now for the animation.

Make sure your top cloud layer is visible and the other two are hidden, and make sure your top lightning layer is visible, and the other two hidden. Go to edit-copy merged.

Go to animation shop and paste as new animation.

Back to psp, hide the top lightning layer, DO NOT unhide the other one yet, Hide the top cloud layer and unhide the middle cloud layer. Edit-copy merged.

In animation shop, paste after current frame.

Back in psp, hide the middle cloud layer and unhide the bottom cloud layer. Unhide the bottom lightning layer. Edit-copy merged.

In animation shop, paste after current frame.

One more time, in psp, hide the bottom cloud and lightning layers, and unhide only the middle cloud layer. Copy merged

In animation shop, paste after current frame. Go to edit-select all. Now go animation-frame properties-set to about 45. Veiw animation.

Thats it, your done!

Dark Angel

For this tutorial you will need

A tube of choice. I am using the work of Michael Calandra, you must purchase a license from MPT, http://www.mypsptubes.com/, to use his work.

Mask of choice. I am using a mask by essex girl, which you can find here http://www.essexgirl.uk.com/sg_masks_index.htm

New image-600x600-transparent.

Flood fill with white.

Paste your tube as a new layer. Position to the right side of your tag. If needed, resize using the pick tool, the little arrow tool, and drag the box by a corner to the size you want it.

Duplicate your tube layer twice for a total of three. On the very top one, click the little eye next to it to hide it.

On your bottom tube layer, go to image-mirror.

Merge the two visible tube layers together by right clicking on the one on top, not the hidden tube layer, and go merge down.

On this merged layer, go to adjust-blur-radial blur- blur type is twirl, strength 29, twirl degrees 45, elliptical checked, H and V offset is 0, protect center is 27.Repeat the blur step one more time.

Unhide the hidden tube layer.

Make your white fill layer active and add a new layer. Pick two colors from your tube for the foreground and background. In your material palette, choose gradient, linear style,Foreground/background, angle 45, repeats 0. Flood fill the new layer with this gradient.

Go to layers, load/save mask, load mask from disk, and in the drop down box find the mask you want to use. Source luminance, invert, hide all, and fit to canvas all selected. Load.

Now, i thought this layer looked too light so i clicked on my white background layer and filled it with black. Make the mask layer active and right click on it, choose merge group.

Give your tube layer a drop shadow of choice.

We are now going to add a border. Go to image-add borders-symmetric checked and all directions are 10, choose a dark color to match your tag. Now repeat the add border, but change it from 10 to 25, and choose an opposite color,I used white, doesnt matter what cause it will be changed.

Grab your magic wand, mode is add, match mode rgb, tolerance 20, feather 0, and click on the white border, or whatever color you used. Go to effects, 3d effects, reflection effects, kaleidoscope- image area settings are -100,-100,196,76, and Kaleidoscope settings area is 6,0,29. Edge mode is wrap. Keep selected.

Go to effects, 3d effects, cutout, v and h 4, opacity 100, blur 30, color black, fill interior unchecked.Repeat changing the 4 to -4.Select none.

One more time, go to image, add border, black, or the dark color you used for the first one, 10 on all directions.

Now is the time to resize your entire tag if you think it is too big. Go to image, resize, make sure lock aspect ratio, and resize all layers is checked at the bottom, change the percent drop box to pixels and choose your size, when you change one, the other should automaticly adjust. Make sure the resolution is at 72.

Add your copyright so it is clearly visible.

Add your name. If you want it to go up and down like mine, once you click on the text tool, click the drop down box under where it says direction, and choose the middle one. Convert to raster.

I added an inner bevel to mine, first get the magic wand and click inside each letter. Effects, 3d effects, inner bevel, in the drop down box, bevel 2, width 20, smoothness 25,depth 10, ambience 2, shininess 20, color white, angle 315, intensity 40, elevation 40.

Thats it, you are done.

Blaqua girls

Lets begin.

New image-600x600-transparent.

Add a new raster layer. Flood fill with white.

Choose a paper from the kit and paste as new layer. If it is too big, resize it by going to image-resize-start with about 85%, all layers unchecked.If it is still too big you can repeat this step.

Paste a frame as a new layer. Resize if needed using the pick too, the arrow tool, and drag the box by a corner to the size you want.

Grab your magic wand. Mode is add, match mode is rgb, tolerance 20, feather 0, contiguous and anti-alias checked.Click in the center of each frame. Go to selections-modify-expand by 2. Keep selected.

Make the paper layer you pasted active and go selections-invert-delete. Select none.
Give your frame layer a drop shadow by going effects-3d effects-drop shadow. I used -2,-2, 65,5,black.

Make a new layer right above your white background. Paste a paper of choice for your new background. Resize it if needed.

Make the paper we used for the frame active. Paste the tube you want inside the frame as a new layer. If needed, resize, position it so the part you want to use shows through the frame.

My frame had two sides so Once happy, duplicate your tubeand go image-mirror. Position this one so it shows through the second frame the way you want.

Grab your magic wand, same settings as before, and make your frame layer active. Click in the center of each side and go selections-invert. Make the first tube active and hit delete, do the same on the other tube layer. Select none.

Paste a charm as a new layer. Resize if needed. Make sure this layer is above the frame layer.

Position so it looks as though it is hanging off of the corner of the right frame. See my tag for reference.

Choose a flower and paste it as a new layer. Resize it if needed. Position on the left side of the frame. See my tag for placement.

Grab a different flower and resize if needed. Move this layer below the frame and frame paper layer. Position so it sticks out from underneath the frame in the center. See my tag for reference. Once happy with it, duplicate it and go image flip. Position this oneat the top center of the frame in the same way.

Now paste your main tube as a new layer. Position how you like or how i have mine. Give them a drop shadow of choice.

Paste one of the tags as a new layer. Position on the left side of the tag and move it below the flower layer. See my tag for reference.

I also pasted a butterfly at the top left corner under the same flower.

Now is the time to resize your entire tag if you think it is too big. Go to image-resize-make sure lock aspect ratio is checked. In the drop down box, choose pixels, and then make the size you want. When you change one the other will automaticly change. Make sure all layers is checked and click okay.

Add your copyright and postion it on the tag. Make sure it is clearly visible.

Add your name. Give it a drop shadow and position how you like.

Thats it, you are done.

Drops of Love

Tube of choice. I am using the work of Keith Garvey, you must purchase a license from MPT, http://www.mypsptubes.com/, to use his work.

Lets begin.New Image-600x600-transparent.

Paste a paper of choice as a new layer. If needed resize by going to image resize- i usually start with 85%. Make sure all layers is unchecked and lock aspect ratio is checked.If the paper is still too big, repeat this step until it is the right size.

Paste a frame as a new layer. I used a heart frame. If needed, resize either using the method we used above, or you can use the pick tool, the little arrow tool, and drag the box byone of the corners to the size you want it.

Choose a paper for the inside of the frame. Click on your background paper layer and paste the paper you chose as a new layer.

Grab your magic wand tool, Set it to the freehand mode. selection type is freehand, mode is add, feather 0, smoothing 0, anti-alias checked.

Draw a selection carefully the same shape as your frame but slightly larger then the inside of the frame without going over the outside edge.Selections-invert. Make sure your paper layer is active and hit delete. Select none.

Give the frame layer a drop shadow of choice.

Paste your tube as a new layer. If it is a sitting tube like mine, postition toward the bottom of the frame. Resize if needed. See my tag for reference.

Paste one of the cushions as a new layer. If needed, resize. Move this layer below your tube layer and position at the bottom of the frame so it looks like your tube is sitting on it. See my tag for reference.

Paste the envelope as a new layer. Position to one side of your frame. If needed resize it. Move this layer below the frame and frame paper and position so it sticks out of the side. Againsee my tag for reference. Duplicate this layer and go image mirror. Now you should have one on each side.

Paste one of the bears as a new layer. Make sure this layer is above the frame and tube layer.Resize if needed. Position on the left side in the middle of the cushion and envelope. See my tag for placement.

On the opposite side of the frame, paste a heart in the middle of the envelope and the cushion, and move it below the tube layer.

Paste one of the bows as a new layer. Resize, and position in the top center of the frame. See my tag for reference.

Choose one of the charms and paste as a new layer. Resize and position at the top left side of the frame. Once happy with it, duplicate and go image mirror. You should now have one on each side.

Paste the raindrops as a new layer. Move this below the frame layer. Resize and position as i have mine. You may need to use the eraser tool to erase any bits that hang out of the frame.

Give your tube layer a drop shadow of choice.

Now hide your paper background layer and go layers-merge visible.

Duplicate this merged layer. Give the duplicate a drop shadow of choice.

On the original, go to effects-reflection effects-kaleidoscope. Image area settings are -100, -100, 355, 90. Kaleidoscope settings are 6,0,29. edge mode is wrap.

Right click on this layer and lower the opacity to about 50.

Now is the time if you wish to resize your whole tag to do so. Just use the image-resize method, make sure all layers is checked this time.

Now add your copyright so it is clearly visible.

Add your name. Give it a drop shadow.

I also added noise to my layer that was kaleidoscoped. Go to adjust, add noise, and choose the percentage you like.

Thats it, you are done.

here is another tutorial with no scraps used

This Tutorial was written by me, Angel Flower, from my own ideas. Any similarities to others is coincedence. All my tutorialsare registered with TWI.

For this tutorial you will need
Tube of choice. I am using the work of Sue Dawe, you must purchase a license from CILM, http://www.cilm.com/, to use her work.

Mask of choice, i used sg_fairyland-frame by Essex Girl. You can find her masks here http://www.essexgirl.uk.com/sg_masks.htm.

Filters: DSB flux- bubbles, Eye Candy 3.1- glass, Fantastic Machines -paint engine

Lets Begin.

New Image-600x600-tranparent.

New raster layer. Flood fill with white.

Get your preset shape tool and find a heart shape. Width is 10, create as vector and anti alias checked. Draw out a decent size heart. See my tag for reference.

Paste your tube as a new layer. Position the part you want to show through the heart. Resize if needed by using the little pick tool, which is the arrow tool, and drag the box by one of the corners to the size you want.

Make your heart layer active. Grab your magic wand, mode is add, match mode is rgb, tolerance 20, feather 0, anti-alias and contiguous checked. Click in the center of you heart shape. Selections-modify-expand by about 3.Selections-invert. Now if you are using a unicorn tube or something similar, do not hit delete. Grab your eraser tool, size about 32, and Make your tube layer active. Do not erase the front hooves or paws or whatever, only erase the other parts that stick out. See on my tag i erased the back hooves and tail parts but left the front so it looks like it is coming out of the heart. If you are using a different tube, then just simply hit delete, and Select none. Move the tube layer below the heart layer.

Right click on your heart layer and convert to raster.

Grab your magic wand again, same settings. Click inside the border of the heart, the colored part. Go to effects, plugins, eye candy 3.1-glass. Width 9, spacing 30, thickness 30, opacity 50, refraction 30, glass colormid to dark grey, i used #808080, brightness 100, size 40, direction 127, inclination 76.

Select none. Now click again inside the center of the heart. Selections-modify-expand by 3.
Make your white background active and add a new layer. Flood fill the inside of the heart with a color or gradient of choice.

Keep selected and use the same glass effect we used above. It will look different. Select none.

Make your tube layer active. Give it a drop shadow. I used -3,0.100,8,black.

Hide your background layer, the white layer, by clicking the little eye next to it. Now make one of the visible layers active and right click on it and choose merge visible. Now unhide your white background.

Add a new layer. Flood fill with a color or gradient of choice. Go to effects, plugins, fantastic machines paint engine. Just click random until you find one you like.

Now go to layers, load/save mask, load from disk, in the drop down box, find your mask, source luminance, hide all, and fit to canvas all checked. apply.

Right click on the mask layer and choose merge group.

Now duplicate your merged heart layer. On the original, go to effects, plugins, dsb flux bubbles. Settings are 21,50,50,51. Resize this layer by going to image, resize, choose 95%, and make sure all layers is unchecked.If there are any bits you dont like the looks of, use the eraser brush to erase them.

Duplicate the heart layer with the tube in it. Using your pick tool, the little arrow tool, drag by one of the corners till it is a small size. Place this in the lower right corner. See my tag for size and placement. Duplicate this smaller one and go image mirror.Now you should have one in each corner.

Grab your text tool, choose a scripty font, and type out the words Do You Believe..., or a saying of choice.Give this layer the same glass effect we used above. Give a drop shadow of choice. I used -2,-2,100,5, and black.

Now is the time to resize your entire tag if you think it is too big. Go to image, resize, in the first drop down box choose pixels instead of percent. Make sure lock aspect ratio is checked. Now change the height and width to the size you want. When you change one,the other will automaticly adjust.

Now add your copyright so it is clearly visible.

Add your name. Convert to raster. I used eye candy 3.1 inner bevel on mine. I just played with the settings till i found one i liked. Then give it a drop shadow of choice.

Thats it, you are done.

Moonshine

Here is my brand new tutorial with no kits at all called MoonShine. Click on the tag to see it full sized. Thank you to my dear friend kitty for inspiring me to get back into writing my own tutorials!

For this tutorial you will need: PSP , Animation shop

Tube of choice. I am using the work of Jessica Galbreth, you must purchase a license from CILM, http://www.cilm.com/, to use her work.
Filters: Fantastic machines paint engine
DSB flux-bubbles and bright noise
Eye Candy 4000 or 3.1

Lets begin.

New image-600x600-transparent.

Flood fill with white.

New layer, flood fill with a color or gradient of choice to compliment your tube.

Go to effects-plugins-fantastic machines-paint engine. You can just click random till you find one you like or use my settings:under brush- .58,.9,.00,.88,.8,.00-effect-.78, wrap edges unchecked- under stroke-type is uphill, input checked, .28,1.16,-120,120,144,-155direction channel select R.

Grab your preset shape tool. Choose the half moon1 shape or another half moon shape you may have. Create as vector and anti-alias checked,line style is solid,width is 6. Choose two colors or gradients lighter than your paper. Draw out your shape and position to the left of the tag. See my tag for reference of size.

Now right click on this layer and convert to raster. Selections-select all-selections-float. Then go selctions-modify-contract by 6. Again, go to selections float. Keep selected.

Effects-3d effects-cutout- offset is -5,-5, opacity 100, blur 36, shadow color-choose a slightly darker color than your shape, fill interior unchecked. Select none.

Back to your preset shapes, find a star shape. Use the same colors and settings as you did for the moon. Draw out a star. Position it so it sits kind of inside the empty spacenext to the moon. See my tag for reference. Convert to raster.

Now follow the same steps we used on the moon to do the cutout effect. Merge the moon and star together by right clicking on whichever one is the top layer and choose merge down.

Duplicate the moon and star layer.

On the original Go to effects-reflection effects-kaleidoscope- Image area settings are -72,68,157,90, Kaleidoscope settings are 8,0,30, edge mode is wrap. Give this layer a drop shadow of 0,0,54,15,black.

Duplicate this layer again. On the original, go to effects-plugins-dsb flux-bubbles-all settings at 50.

On your moon and star layer, give it a gradient glow or a glow by going to plugins-eye candy-I used 4000 but you can also use a plain glow in eye candy 3.1. In 4000, I used a size of under basic, i used a glow width of 5, soft corners 65, and 100 for opacity, draw only outside checked. Under color the opacity is 100, I chose the fat setting, you may or may not have to go back and fix you basic settings after choosing fat, I made the first color tag a darker color that complimented my shape, the second tab a very light color, and i added a third tab the same as the second, but you can play around and do it how you like.If you use eye candy 3.1, i would use a width of 10, opacity 100, opacity drop off is fat, draw everywhere unchecked, and use a very light color.

Duplicate your moon and star layer twice for a total of 3.

On the top one, go to selections-select all-float-then defloat- selections-modify-contract by about 15. Selections invert-selections float-then defloat. Now the outline and the glow of this layer should have the little marching ants around it. Keep selected.

Effects-plugins-dsb flux-bright noise-56 and mix. Keep selected and hide this layer by clickin the little eye next to it. Make the next moon and star layer active, repeat the bright noise filter but this time click the mix button once. Hide this layer and make the last moon and star layer active and again repeat the bright noise and click mix twice this time. Selections-select none.

Now add your tube, resize if needed either by going image-resize and start with about 85%, all layers unchecked, or you can use the little arrow tool and resize it by dragging one of the corners till it is the size you want. Position where you likeor how i have mine. Give it a drop shadow. I used 2,5,75,9, black.

Now is the time to resize your entire tag if you think it is too big. Go to image resize-choose your percentage or you can change the box to pixels and make sure that lock aspect ratio is checked, then choose the size you want it to be, make sure alllayers is also checked.

Now add your copyright so it is clearly visible.

Add your name. Give it a glow of choice, then a drop shadow of choice.

Now we are going to animate. Make sure the two moon and star layers we hid earlier are still hidden. Click on the visible layer. Go to edit, copy merged.

Now open animation shop and paste as new animation.

Back in psp, hide the visible layer, and unhidethe next moon and star layer and click on it to make it the active layer. Go edit, copy merged. Back to animation shop, edit, paste after current frame.

One more time, back to psp, hide this layer and unhide the last moon and star layer and make it active. Edit,copy merged, back in animation shop, paste after current frame. Click view animation and save and your done.
